Dale's performances are known for their bright, rich sound, and he can create the effect of a small string ensemble, to bright brass with full orchestral backing. Dale often performs as a solo instrumentalist with live piano or organ accompaniment also, which provides great versatility in certain settings.

All of Cadenza's accompaniment repertoire is digitally stored and can be reproduced in any setting.  That means that if you always wanted to be announced by a big trumpet fanfare and walk the aisle to a huge pipe organ, you can still do that, even though your ceremony may take place in a hall with no instruments.  If a quiet garden ceremony is what you have planned, Cadenza can create a romantic song list with strings, acoustic guitar, flute, etc.. Dale has one of the most advanced musical set-ups ever designed for wedding ceremonies, and can quite literally bring an entire orchestra or a small string ensemble with him to any setting from garden to church to lakeside, etc..  No other ceremony musician has anything like it or is capable of reproducing the wide range of musical instrumentation that Cadenza offers.

From romantic and understated, to bright and celebratory, you choose the atmosphere for your ceremony and Cadenza will set the tone with music.  We can also accompany a vocalist, perform as a solo instrument of your choosing along with your accompanist, or as special guest in an ensemble.

Our goal is to perform exquisitely for your ceremony and have all the processions and entrances flow seamlessly with our music. Before your wedding day, we will help you select the music and personalize a program. On your wedding day, we will take care of all the visual cues with your wedding director beforehand and adjust the tempo/length of songs according to the pace of the processions.

In a typical ceremony, we will perform at these moments:

• Thirty minutes of prelude music before the ceremony as guests are being seated
• Seating of mothers and grandmothers
• Entrance of the wedding attendants
• The Bridal Processional
• Unity Candle/Communion/Reflection
• Recessional/exit music after the couple has been presented as husband and wife
• A short postlude as guests are leaving the ceremony

We will also gladly accompany vocalists whenever needed. Sheet music for the accompaniment will be required prior to the ceremony. Please inquire for more details.

The fee for our services is based upon your choice of instrumentation and the length of engagement. Please contact us for availability and pricing, request our complimentary CD, or any further questions. Should you decide to engage our services, a written contract will be issued. We require a 50% non-refundable deposit to secure the date with the balance due at rehearsal.

Cadenza is also able to provide full sound reinforcement at no additional charge.  If the quality or abilities of the music amplification system in the church, hall, etc. where the ceremony is to be performed is determined to be inadequate, I will provide my own "system" to ensure that the quality of the music is not compromised.
